Representation · How We Work
What a Manufacturer's Representative Actually Does
A plain description of the commercial work between a factory abroad and a first order in Canada.

Arvanta Industrial

Representation is often described vaguely. In practice it is a defined commercial function.
The work
- Identifying and qualifying the crane companies and distributors worth approaching.
- Positioning the product against what those companies already sell.
- Supporting quotations, applications and technical questions locally.
- Managing the pipeline and following up when the factory cannot.
- Reporting honestly on what the market says, including when the answer is no.
What it is not
It is not engineering, manufacturing, installation or warranty work. Those stay with the manufacturer and the channel partners. Arvanta is the commercial layer between them.
