North American Market Development

Manufacturer Representation · Distributor Development · Local Liaison

Arvanta brings deep experience in overhead cranes and industrial lifting, including technical sales, project management, service operations, business development and manufacturer representation.

Our work includes developing major crane and modernization opportunities, supporting technical quotations, working with industrial owners, EPCs and consulting engineers, managing customer relationships and developing the local commercial and service support international manufacturers and service providers need to compete in Canada and the United States.

Arvanta was established to give international crane, component and lifting-technology manufacturers and service providers an experienced North American market-development partner without requiring them to immediately open their own Canadian office.

Bryan Whitty, Founder and Principal of Arvanta Industrial

Who You’ll Be Working With

Bryan Whitty

Founder and Principal

Bryan has spent fifteen years working directly in overhead crane service and manufacturing sales — on the equipment, in the plants, and with the people who specify, buy and maintain it. That work covered technical sales, service operations, project support and business development across hoists, crane components, controls and below-the-hook equipment.

Those years built direct working relationships with Canadian crane builders, service companies, distributors and industrial end users across Western and Central Canada — the same network an international manufacturer needs to reach in order to sell here.

He founded Arvanta so international manufacturers could have a credible local presence in Canada without opening an office. Manufacturers deal with him directly: technical questions, quotations, distributor issues and market feedback come from one person who knows both the product and the market.

Arvanta is a North American market-development and manufacturer representation company. Arvanta does not manufacture cranes, provide engineering services or replace the responsibilities of the equipment manufacturer, engineer of record, installer or Authority Having Jurisdiction.
